​Passionate about food and creativity in the kitchen!


When my children were little, I stayed at home with them and learnt that I had a passion for creativity, timing, and presentation in the kitchen. Combined with my love of a dinner party, and any sort of celebration, I discovered that I could use these valuable skills in the development and running of a successful catering business.

La Crème de la Crème began from my home kitchen, creating desserts, accompaniments, canapes, and petits fours for local private parties. From there we grew the company to cater for full private functions at the client's home, and then on to functions in commercial venues. 

Twenty five years on and we have created magic for many a wedding and special occasion, as well as expanded our expertise into other areas including corporate functions. Our extensive knowledge and experience in the wedding industry means that we are able to help with much more than just your food and drink, and have reliable contacts from marquee and facility hire, to photographers, florists, and musicians.

We understand that each event is unique to your personal taste and imagination, and have always believed that a long discovery process is key to the success of your event. Tasting sessions and meetings to explore your ideas and wishes allow us to tailor an experience that not only fits with your wider vision, but really brings your dreams to life. It's a core part of what we do, and has resulted in many clients becoming life long friends.

I'm a firm believer that cooking with delicious, fresh ingredients is universally loved and is a happy and healthy way to cook, eat, and enjoy company.
